Voiceless are Dumb

Eighth of November.
Tremors return.
What’s in store?
What augurs well?
What next?
A democratic nation waits with bated breath .
Will he or will he not ?
Encore or repeat?
Success after success ?
Or,utter failure?
Whose back was broken ?
The hunchback politicians?
All pot-bellied ones?
Or,of hapless ordinary classless ones?
Is money the currency of power?
Or,currency determines powers?
Can a democracy be indulgent enough?
Or,fear dictates the masses ?
Fear of retribution?
Reprisals are unpublished!
Appraisal – note ?
Yes!
No.
Just a meandering mind of a wandering minstrel – voiceless , penniless and lacking any sense of bias or prejudice.
Voices of reason ? Shut up!
Accursed souls ? Doubtless.
Mass of suffering ?
Not at all !
All are not suffering ?
Yes.
Corrupt aren’t suffering .
Bigwigs?
Wigs shelter those !
Hoi poi?
All the hullabulla confined to so very facetious social media outlets!
So,what ails voices of reason ?
Senselessness – as in anaesthesia!
Recourse left ?
No.Not guns.
Nor alms – for no be exists to partake of!
Euthanasia!
As you sow,so you reap…
Everyone applauds the junta.
One demented lot ?
A sad plight ?
Yes.
We all resigned – to Fate!
Voiceless angst numbs one and all.
Wither the will ?
Will of People – sacred Constitution!
A secret kept.
Posterity sighs.
Present hopes.
Past sleeps.
Today
?
Eighth of November.
One shudders – to or not to speak.
Dumbfounded ?
Dumb. Found.
Blindfolded?
All eyes on the Economy !
Defaulters flee.
Escapades galore.
Diseased banks lent huge sums!
Deceased patriots haunt !
Living dead walk ?
Souls float about – as ghosts!
Lifeless live forms.
Alice in Wonderland?
The mad hatters party!
The voiceless gloat.
Even as scapegoats bleat!
And,we the people take a beating of the short-sighted mendicant .
A burning train ?
A detailed society ?
No.
Just an experiment.
With?
Words!

Ps-
Real demonetisation would be meaningful only the day the country does not print a note of a denomination higher than ₹100/-( rupees one hundred only )!

Also,when high-security internet banking replaces bricks & mortar banks!

And? Yes!
When capital punishment is awarded for political corruption and business fraudsters!
In?
In India 🇮🇳 that is Bharat …!
