Dip in Ganga for Identity -Engineering

The biggest poser before every sanatani and Bharatiya today is -‘ Who Am I ?’
Indian of course. Sanatani cannot but carry the blue-blooded Hindu genes. The psyche is one of tolerance,forgiveness and kindness. A nationalist as well for these troubled times demand and necessitate wearing of your patriotism on your sleeve,on the forehead and in attire too.

Above all,a sanatana-adherent is a humanist at heart and by mindset. Live and let live. Vasudaiva kutumbikum. The oft-repeated phrases lend a directional pathway to the indoctrined.

However,as one who is posted on turret-tower duty, it is but essential to observe the fallen morals, chaotic lifestyles and gross behaviour in the public sphere by all and sundry. If there are those that thrive upon being proud sycophants of beastly minions who seek to dominate the society, there are ample number of cases where lost souls who are lonely or shallow by nature stoop down to level of creepy insects and all they can breathe, see,dream and live for is money : wads of notes that lend a false sense of power, grandeur and might. To achieve this objective,lowest of scums can resort to any length of subterfuge, treachery and evil ways shamelessly indulging in acts of character assassination and mental torture towards the unsuspecting targetted person. Such a demonic mindset when it goes to extreme levels of intolerable nuisance can safely be dubbed as bring symptomatic of psychopaths. To what extent and depth of ignominious,self-consuming acts such class of persons can go to determines the degree of insanity which has caught up. Of course,there are seers who would see the ghost that possesses an otherwise ordinary, happy individual. Identity crisis leads to hallucinations, illusionary images bordering on delusional thoughts and in falling prey to ‘Voices in head’.

Yet another category of citizens are ones who are not aware of any religion or discipline in life’s journey. They are the extremes : either very poor or living in extraordinary wealth. They find life is free, carefree, boring and a vacuum remains in their soul even after a cruise trip or such other outings. Such a person would allow negativity to overwhelm her or him resulting in addiction to drugs and other noxious substances. Once enslaved,the being ceases to be a decent human being. Little knowing though that bad karma will see the oppressor disappear from face of the earth and that these are last few days on earth,set to lead a ghoulish life in nether world,hereafter.

Identity-engineering cannot happen via tattoos or by befooling onself or the world through exaggerated claims over peace-loving co-workers and superiors at the workplace.

Positive thinking is a sine qua non to carve a good Identity. Priests ought to be pious, judges must be kind and doctors Divine as a mother would be. Love should flow downwards and regard upwards.

Cleanliness of body and surroundings is a basic requirement of good civilization. Behavioural tendencies are moulded more often by DNA composition and upbringing plays a relatively lesser role. Who weds whom and how to rebuild the institution of marriage to knit together a more harmonious and orderly society should be the focus of all social engineering,be it through policies or schemes laid down by legislatures. Schools and hospitals ought not to be turned into abettoirs of morality and goodness.

All this outpouring is not an egalitarian thought but need of the hour. Unless and until,every successor captain of industry and governmental body imbibes this philosophy towards existence and workplace ethics,all plans and manifestos would be futile and dried twigs of decoration.

Identity engineering is a most personal choice,which can cary from individual to individual and from community to community. Those who outnumber the black sheep must give direction to the whole of society. Banish the wolves and devils;abandon all evil and arraignment them to be consumed in the resultant karma of misdeeds. No more posturing or politically correct decisions because populist offerings are invariably counter- productive.

What is your identity? Are you the face in the mirror,the image in those eyes or is there a veneer to be peeled off to attain the beauty of creation? Reincarnation is a must to avoid exorcising devils and to lead life as a wholesome human-being. Taking a dip in the sacred waters of Ganga is no mere dip in the river but helps in identity- engineering of all conscientious souls,knowingly or unknowingly; wilfully or otherwise.
