Voiceless Vociferously Voiceless!
Voices of we, the people. Elected through a democratic process of law. As prescribed by the sacred Constitution.
Prisoners. Of faceless forms. Or, of fear with a face?
All elected to represent. All holed up in a seaside resort. As a last resort. Of the spineless, avaricious one?
Or, of those hapless ‘ once voted, suffer endlessly until the next hustings pamper their existence ‘- citizenry?
A constitutional head in every State. Yet, state of limbo exists. Continues. Persists. Why so?
Why does a Governor with a law background; a seasoned legislator who created many storms on home Assembly need to seek and shelter under legal opinion from old, senile, Ex-wizards of sorcery of governance, to declare and anoint the bypassers of constitution and mandatory election mechanism?
Oh, are we so impotent a republic? Or, worse still, are we a lame duck, toss a coin in the mysterious wishing well society?
Of dunces? Of jokers? Of idiosyncratic mindsets?
Oh, Nation- voices muted , good conscience asleep?
Arise. Awaken. Enlighten. Governance is no comedy of errors. Nor, a Shakespeare tragedy of sorts.
Kho-kho is a game. Good governance is not !
