The Sun Rises
Finally, the day of Swearing in has arrived. The Leader of Masses has arrived. Hope will now get transformed into reality at a time when the Nation is reeling under six decades of decadence and lustful opportunism of erstwhile Rulers.
This is a great moment. The Nation has suddenly woken up to a new Energy within itself. People are trying to find the expression in the traditional indicators of Prosperity like the Share Market, the Price Indices and the Relations with the Neighbours.
At this glorious moment one remembers the Sanatan saying that
धर्मोजयतिनाधर्मःसत्यंजयतिनानृतम्
क्षमाजयतिनाक्रोधोविष्णुर्जयतिनासुरः
Dharma only Wins and not Adharma, Truth emerges Victorious and not Lies, Forgiveness is the Way and not Anger, the Pure always Overwhelms the Demonic.
Welcoming Shri Narendra Modi by an ordinary person like me is like Showing Lamp to the Sun. Yet, it expresses what perhaps millions if not a complete billion Indians is feeling today.
At times, we have heard, when a poor person gets a Lottery, it can cause shocking pleasure. The pleasure is accompanied by a feeling of shock. There is a tendency to disbelieve the Truth in the moment. Many like me may be suffering from this Lottery syndrome.
The apprehensions that come to mind are all related to the pressures that would be brought on the Leader to refrain from actions that may expose the misdeeds of many high and mighty people. The fear is of unholy nexus of an insider that may lead to nullify the efforts of the Leader and the Masses. The best policy to follow in such circumstances is the Vidura Niti which says :
यस्यकृत्यंनजानन्तिमन्त्रंवामन्त्रितम्परे
कृतमेवास्यजानन्तिसवैपण्डितउच्यते
One who does not allow his closest associates to know the action contemplated till the action has been taken is Wise.
We have already seen how the media has been left clueless about the Cabinet Formation. Hope that future action would also be in same lines because Vidura goes on to say:
एकंविषरसोहन्तिशस्त्रेणएकैश्चवध्यते
सराष्ट्रंसप्रजंहन्तिराजानंमन्त्रविस्रव
Only one man is killed by Poison or Weapon. But the whole Nation and its subjects face destruction when there is a Poisonous Advisor. Shri Narendra Modi has shown us that he is capable of identifying the right Advisors as this has been a core cause of his success.
Wish him a Very Glorious Leadership of a Truly Glorious Nation
