On being duck out!

Limerick One:
A leader with a long, flowing beard
Who always oil-combs that beard
Come what may in the land
He never ever utters a word
Stoic silence maintains the man of beard!
Limerick Two:
A lad aspires to climb the ladder
And he always falls off that old ladder
Foul play, he screams hoarse
Even as cheerleaders goad him on
Come what may, he leans on to a ladder!!
Limerick Three:
We, the people watch as a lame duck
Forever and ever mum as a lame duck
No food, no shelter, no cures
We gloat over manicured nails and beam
Oh, sitting in muddy pool as a lame duck!!!
