In this landmark year of our independence, as a mark of respect to the digital age all seem to salute, the Reserve Bank of India would do well to declare that all transactions above rupees three lakes ought to be via digital transfers and cheques cannot be issued. This limit can be reduced to rupees one lakh after rural population gets acquainted with the digital systems of money transactions. At once, the overburdened courts will find at least one third of pending litigation disappearing. It may be recapitulated that issuing a post dated cheque is by itself an illegal action.
Without much ado about whimpers of a lame duck opposition,in the eve of election year, this government will do well to takeaway pilot a Bill for uniform civil code and leave it to the combined wisdom of August Houses of the Parliament of India🇮🇳. All other inconsistencies in societal behaviour, attitudes and arrogance of minority of criminal-outfits would automatically undergo a sea-change to merge with the mainstream of our nation or be imprisoned. Human rights must be uniform for the majority sections of society as these are for the minority-communities. There should be unity of minds and an uniformity of the yardsticks of personal law application,in the eyes of law. Social justice will then lead to economic justice. That eventually would reflect as political justice.
Freedom in its truest sense is definitely when one boycotts the negativity to help positivity grow by leaps and bounds. Independence is when freedom is not shackled by fetters of mob hysteria nor by a misplaced sense of inferiority complex towards provocateurs!
India is doing well but much can be achieved towards the ‘happiness quotient’ if at all these few crucial changes in style of functioning of this vibrant democracy are adopted. In best interests of the nation as well as a billion plus souls who sing the national anthem -‘ JanaGanaMana ‘ .
Arise. Awake. Achieve.
Stop not till the goal is reached, of ‘ Justice-social,political and economic for all Indian citizens’ .
Jail Hind!
