‘JB k C’

Just as the ‘dehati aurat’ jibe of a terror land’s stout neta was being forgotten, a real dehati kind of phrase emerged yesterday in the national capital.

A hitherto unknown political worker groomed to limelight by social media hurled a phrase-‘ James Bond ka Chacha’ at a margadarshak brand neta of the country.

This chit of a neta wasn’t born in the halcyon days when a certain youth similar to his own enthusiasm for rising in political ladder used to trudge on a ‘suvega’ MOPED, across the Parsi colony in Mumbai towards Jaslok Hospital where a popular leader of emergency was undergoing treatment!

(only an old eye witness knows what transpired there and how that wannabe young neta soon emerged a larger tha life Shakuni in desi politics. That’s a secret not meant for the ‘JB k C’ honorific now coined ).

All respect for elders and senior citizens in the land seems to have gone for a toss.

 

More particularly in the political arena : Winking inside Parliament, janeyu dhaari Christian, langoor pseudo barrister tag neta spitting venom and nurturing ambitions of becoming the first sherwani PM post Jawaharlal, desh k tukde tukde monsters, and so on.. all these reflect obnoxious collapse of parliamentary traditions and cultural ethos. 

The common denominator is that all of these characters are hankering for power. They resemble the lizard that crawls on the walls, jumping from one political outfit to another. The tail is often snipped off during such a hop-skip-jump event yet they grow a new tail. Shameless? Thick-skinned? Rakshasas?

Power is a heady affair-especially to those who court Dame History along with her page-boys.

JB k C ? Who?

The indomitable spirit of this old man clothed in attire since long of Bhishmacharya in desi political spectrum strengthened by leaps and bounds after he was forced to flee to Uncle Sam’s land and returned to become the intelligent, crafty and devious Shakuni mama of desi political scene. He had cultivated powerful friends there and he now had an axe to grind- to take revenge on those who had hounded a father holding his little daughter in hands during emergency period.The dice was cast.

Crusader was not decorated with any post of power since a few decades. A hoary track record of openly possessing a penchant to topple elected Governments made all who crossed his path, nervous. He, all said and done, is a veritable hard working seasoned neta today.

Therefore, the cockiness of an upstart to dare to call him out as a ‘JB k C’ is condemnable.

This name dropping Social-media prop-up of a neta was alleged to have tortured and been guilty of misdemeanour with a lady doctor from Bangalore then belonging to the same political party, few years back: so, he certainly is not a saint. This has been attested by the media which caught him behind PC, the recount mantri in pre-2014 era, in a clear picture. 

Is ‘James Bond ka Chacha’ indeed ShakuniMama or is he indeed Bhishmacharya?

Whatever your opinion, he deserves more respect for he has world’s best agency for guidance and he definitely was right this time around expressing doubts about some shady foot-soldier. 

So, is the Bhatija of ‘JB k C’ the Shikhandi of Mahabharata in 2021?

All good work bandied about by an eager-beaver government in saddle can well come to nought if shady foot-soldiers are crowned and branded as blue-eyed boys of the high-command.

It would be in national interest to Castigate the brigand ‘poster-boy’ and apologise to the veteran neta as a gracious gesture of statesmanship, Pradhan Sewak ji.

JB k C ?! Indeed , seems to reflect the quality of rhetoric appreciated by both political parties and their voters.

Ominous to say the least.
