Ghost who Stalks

‘Voices in the head’ was a much mouthed confession by psychopaths and serial-killers in the past.

 

In this digital-era though, it has been taken to altogether new levels with ‘stalking’ becoming the new menace of the demented,those possessed and the wholly obsessed folks mingling around us in this largely polluted arena of not so social ‘social-media’ circuit.

 

Who is a ‘stalker’?

 

This term initially reminded us of steakers dashing on to the playing-field when cricket was a gentleman’s game.Later on,it took more ghastly proportions reminding us of ‘the ghost who walks’.

 

Nowadays,stalking which has been codified as a decidedly criminal offence reeks of monsters who talk to you in a foul,threatening way and resort to blackmail,extortion-bids and even announce their intention to murder you or have you killed by others via supari or paid-media moles in this fallen-society.

 

The ‘stalker’ is typically a sadist,a maniac and a self-destructive psychopath on the prowl. He or she would use blood-curling lingo,blood-boiling abuses which are a clear reflection of low genetic disposition with the sole intention of causing loss of self-esteem, self-respect and self-confidence in the targetted person.

 

What prompts the ghost who stalks into such a dangerously dirty track?

 

A convuluted sense of false- prestige, egotism, greed, avarice, envy, lusting for attention or wealth and flesh which trades for massaging the insecure and inferiority-ridden complex that has struck the perpetrator of such a crime.

 

A stalker typically invents a cause or creates a cock- and- bull tale around the motive for such a sinful and ominous act of continuous actions aimed at destroying the peace and dignity of the targetted individual.

 

Such a demonic mindset will seek out common foes and idle devil’s workmen in order to build a coterie of abettors to this most offensive crime which is both reprehensible as well as crass in nature.

 

Even as stalking has become a most commonly resorted to form of cyber-bullying and as pernicious an evil act as is hacking,the stalker is observed to invade privacy by hacking the WhatsApp, facebook, twitter now X and email accounts either herself or himself or otherwise through agents lurking to indulge in such unethical and illegal practices for fast bucks.

 

An even more extreme dimension of this mental illness is reflected when the stalker cum spammer then starts dialling associates friends and absolute strangers to cast aspersions and mischievously tarnish the image of her or his target.

 

Often times, the stalker would have had a previous avatar of being a co-worker, an ardent fan,a follower or even an underling at workplace : even as the overtures of a spinster or nymphomaniac are spurned, her witchcraft of turning into a stalker and defamer engaged in the active pursuit of destruction of the ‘weakling’ begins. The criminal mindset will be haunted by the voices in that evil, ingenious head which in turn would trigger evil machinations in the form of self-appeasing goals of killing the ‘meek and vulnerable’ target.

 

The stalker seldom recognizes the fact that all technical evidence is left as a snake’s skin whenever he or she engages in such a criminal behaviour. The abuses, vulgar texts and vile threats doled out in an explicit way -‘to murder you’ are all self-incriminatory. The noose gets tightened around neck of the stalker.

 

In case of cyber-bullyng being experienced by you, dial 1930 if in Indian territory. The delinquent would be picked up in no time.

 

Often times, extortionists would claim to have lent you certain sums of monies without being prepared to furnish statement of any purported lending. They may resort to innovative fibs of having showered the victim with gifts and then demand monies for the said presents.

 

And,the stalker would fall upon every honey-trap stalker’s pet-style of ‘flesh for job’ to fortify her evil conspiratorial game-plan.

 

Add to this the stalker falling prey to a drug addict or worser criminal gang enemically disposed against you and the scenario grows morose- the stalker will tend to believe the ones bitching or slandering you. In the process,the stalker becomes a pawn in hands of hardened criminals and would soon become a soft target of her or his accomplices-in-crime.

 

Any way out? 

The best way is to ignore and block such a stalker. A better way, if at all this nuisance persists, is to bring them to book under the long arms of law.

 

In course of practice as a conscientious and righteous lawyer, one receives threats from habitual offenders and hard core criminal gangs. Little do they know that any such threat to an advocate will entail seven years of rigorous Imprisonment to these gangsters.

 

This author has encountered many such characters in course of handling important assignments of national importance, including from spies across the border but unexpected recent instances of a certain element stalking, defaming, abusing with obnoxious and obscene texts and mails as well as threatening to have me murdered for not bowing to their anti-national agenda being doled out, in connivance with idle, anti-social demented elements is no longer a joke.

 

The stalker and her gang of equally insane crooked sidekicks are under surveillance and this new wave of assault upon dignity and life of yours truly will but be the swan-song for one and all of these notorious ghosts.

 

This essay is an alert for all men and women in the social world to be wary of such seemingly docile and obedient page- boys and hand-maids turning into stalkers and killers on the prowl.

 

Do not believe crocodile-tears and the laughter of hynaes. The stalker sheds snake-skin sooner or later. Mind the bent of mind. Never turn a Nelson’s eye to such unapologetic self-obsessed ghosts who stalk.

 

It might not be out of place to mention in the passing that the bells are tolling for my dastardly stalker too.The ghost who stalks might soon enough turn into the ghost who lost sight of her face when the mirror she or he was peering into cracks up if stones hurled at it turns into wide cracks.
