Bugle or War-Cry?
By Pamarty Venkataramana
One Earth, One Family, One Future.
Indian sub continent has arisen from stupor and the squabbling cousins have begun to call-out the big bad wolf who has let the dragon seem larger than life across the decades of existence of the U.N.O. The dragon was conspicuously off the limelight as Bharat took over the presidency of G20 the other day. Rain gods sent joyous showers to help cool the frayed tempers and envious rankings of those that decried the pompous event showcasing a New Mentor of the lost world, today. As one ignores the ones who could only see the bright face of the Prime Minister from hoardings and billboards heralding the arrival of dignitaries and powerhouses of the world, world beyond the jaundiced vision could sight the new avatar of Bharatvarsh.
We are here to handhold the smaller countries and go shoulder to shoulder with the so called advanced nations that rule world bodies. African continent is as dear to world peace as are far away lands like Canada,Australia or the Americas. All world is one as mapping is done over one planet. As one family of humanity,we tread towards a future which looks back to ancient wisdom of our mighty motherland distilled across hundreds of centuries. History books are literally being rewritten to erase the false cock and bull stories spun by mischievous elements on payroll of evil ones who stalked this civilisation. If sage Vishwamitra had to seek the help of young Prince Rama to vanquish the hordes of demons who disturbed mendicants in their penance, world heads of States had to huddle together in a show of solidarity to expose the isolated dragon land. Harsh critics would say the blow was below the belt yet the triumph of sorts has been the corridor stretching from east to west without interference by the oriental dragon whose pet roadway project stands halted. The bells of freedom ring loud and clear as tracts of lands in our neighbourhood,be it Balochistan or PoK or those located in other directions of our border have been screaming loud,in muted breath for succour. Trade and protocols for dealing with acts of terror, space research, climate control, agricultural output, illegal immigration as well as war-torn regions on this planet gained traction at the summit. Bonhomie was clearly present. Those that sought to crucify our society turned ashen-faced as Bharat staged a diplomatic coup in style.
The success of this Summit-meeting will be reflected in earth-shattering changes that are but bound to take place across jurisdictions. The Indian rupee can soon emerge as an acceptable common currency for East Asian, South Asian, Arabian and African as well South American trade circles. The G-20 Delhi declaration is more a bugle being sounded rather than a deemed war-cry.
Peace will be ushered in as conflicts over land end, corrupt are lassoed and those defaming are caged in their warped existential crisis. Be it exploration of vistas of science and technology or the exploitation of space and sea for a meaningful development of mankind, the signature tune has to hereafter be – ‘one earth, one family, one future’. Expansionist, secessionist and extremism ideologies will be exterminated in this new world order of things. Violent sects will disappear, newer horizons shall emerge and border less travel with strict vigil at border crossings will turn all regional boundaries to disappear which is a sine qua non for resuscitation of U.N.O. and enable it to function as a virile body. The just concluded Summit was most certainly a booster-shot for diffident member-nations. The U.K.for instance has announced its official stance over separatist outfits while Canada has been told in no uncertain terms that Bharat will not brook any passive or active patronage given to fissiparous groupings. Rest of world ought to toe the line of ‘vasudaiva kutumbikam’. Namastey.
