Likewise AAP has been playing its games, be it dharma against centre government or Ministers doing night-watch act like old time kings, catching some minor 
policemen/government servant on graft charges or arranging Janta Darbar then closing it, so on so forth. Though all their efforts brought noise, news, appearance on TVs & coverage on print media, lots of positive & negative publicity but failed to give any sort of relief to common public in Delhi. But still no one can blame them as Delhi Government is just ceremonial Government without any actual power for execution.
If you believe in Kejriwal & Co then you must believe that AAP never knew that Delhi Government had no real power. Why they don’t know this? Is it their lack of experience or lack of wisdom or is it their cunningness pretending ignorance?
Let us take the most specific case of corruption against which Aam Aadmi Party started its operation & shot to lime-light instantly. After Anna’s efforts failed to bring suitable & powerful Jan LokPal Bill, the Aam Aadmi Party came out of Anna’s movement to fight against corrupt system from within and Arvind Kejriwal & Co decided to launch AAP politically. AAP fought Delhi Assembly Election and came second in the race. Public voted them not because of many flimsy election promises but they voted for them because AAP promised an honest politics & book all corrupts by bringing LokPal Bill within 15 days. Delhi public believed their words. However, they failed to do that because of some procedural hindrance & in last they adopted Uttarakhand Lokayukta Bill (passed during BJP rule in Uttarakhand) with some modifications. The story starts with this adoption. Let us have a look on the events that followed in chronological order. But first the rules governing Delhi State.
