He Pushed Me!

The wolf in sheep’s skin was arrogance personified. He envied the mane of the king of the forest for Mr.Lion was looked up to by all beasts and even men of the far away concrete jungle. In fact, even the lioness served the lazy lion obediently. He disliked being called a lamb although he was more cunning than a fox or the chameleon. But, he had to wear the mask since he was aspiring to dislodge the lion king and be the next ruler. Almost all birds and most other residents of the forest land seemed to despise him going by his studied research carried out via rumours and whispers afloat, day in and day out.
The opportunity to slight the lion came his way one afternoon on a cold, wintry day. There was an assembly of all elected representatives and even as their parliamentary session was about to commence the wolf wicked as he was espied an elderly creature resembling his bete noire, the lion. Whatever the goading from his inner mind, a voice beckoned him and the wolf nudged, then pushed the other person who fell on the ground resulting in a bleeding forehead. The sense of dejavu excited the wicked wolf and he began smirking and raced up to the camel striding with its nose held high up in the air.
The commotion soon got loyal ones in the gathering to raise a hue and cry. They herded him towards the injured person. Without as much as flinching an eyelid or even offering a sympathetic nod, the wily wolf 🐺 felt like a supernatural being floating on cloud nine and without exhibiting his elated spirits just curtly announced-‘ he pushed me!’ and he walked away.
Soon the bystanders and onlookers on the street turned into a united voice even as the ambulance inched it’s way towards base hospital. They called for an immediate suspension of the wolf’s membership. Few even asked the security personnel to detain the delinquent animal who behaved in such a beastly manner. Some even shouted-‘ off with his head, the headstrong beast must be incarcerated’.
Overnight, the paid media moles machinery got activated and offensive reports eulogising the wolf as one of the wisest existing creation on the planet appeared. Flattering accounts of this mischievous character being charitable without going to a church sprung.
Aghast at this undying adulation, the hoi poi in the forestland began to assemble in the centre of a large clearing at highest point of the hilly region and realising that diplomacy and political correctness would shield the delinquent black sheep among the residents of the forest decided to March towards the edge of the cliff where the presuding deity of the jungle had her temple shrine.
Soon they began to undertake a fast meditating upon their common concern – that a wicked creature was hell-bent upon destroying the charm of living in close harmony to nature and that nature of evil beings is such that chemical composition their blood does not permit them to ever reform their demented mindset and slanted viewpoint.
After a fortnight, the worship bears fruit as the villainous wolf 🐺 walks towards the sea shore to have a dip before he could don the robe of a sovereign and reign over all other animals, cows to hippopotamus to giraffes to deers, birds to rabbits.
However, a huge tidal wave emerges from the horizon and engulfs tye wolf in sheep’s skin drawing the mobster to deep recesses of nether world.
The last words he was heard uttering by the sea shells was -‘ He Pushed Me’.
Those who seek to usurp the right of another shall but end up as leftovers or find their life is of no real value and they terminate it themselves. Such is the ilk who find peace irksome and in total frustration expose their true avatar.
May our nation learn from the episode and start working towards concerted prayers for salvation from unending torture being inflicted by that lost soul who stalks desi politics. Nature is the ultimate leveller.
